Our mission
Our mission is to support senior citizens and people with different disabilities throughout the EU in everyday life, especially to improve senior citizens’ status through cooperation of international and local institutions. We want to promote volunteering as a way to help others and ourselves at the same time.
“By helping others we help ourselves”.

Where are we heading?
Our desire is to become an institution helping and supporting senior citizens and the disabled not only in
We also plan to expand our activities by opening an internet shop with goods for the senior citizens, and in the future we would like to open small senior homes, oriented to homely/family care.
Caring-volunteering
We are the creators and promoters of “caring-volunteering” – we have created this term and we are promoting “caring-volunteering” in theory and practice throughout the EU.
A shake-up of the EFO. An increasing need for the services rendered by the EFO requires innovations that will let us carry out our mission to a greater extent. We focus on the needs and subjectivity of our charges. Maintaining high level of standards, together with expansion (the ability to cater for a larger number of contracts simultaneously) and keeping competitive prices require implementation of a suitable system of managing an institution.
CRM – one of the projects of the shake-up, being currently implemented. Thanks to the automation of the organizational process we will be able to move more assets from the coordination level to the implementation of care for people in need. The implemented system will be operated through the internet, as well as a mobile phone.
E-learning platform – in order to train volunteers in the specialist care an e-learning platform will be used. Before people attending this free course are permitted to work their qualifications, obtained during the course, will be checked in practice during care for the elderly, suggested by the borough the carer belongs to.
On-line translating – in order to be more competitive and offer better standards of care for the charges we are implementing an on-line translating system by mobile phones so the carers, charges and their families can communicate easily. This will enable us to employ carers with the basic knowledge of the language and stress-free learning while working.
Internet shop – the above elements will be completed by an internet shop, where customers will be able to order and buy products necessary for the proper care of the elderly and the disabled (wheelchairs, diapers, different care products etc.).
Thanks to the combination of the above elements the EFO will increase its potential on the market and will be able to answer the growing needs of the EU as far as care for the elderly and the disabled is concerned.
